As a supposed loma #1 hater(according to lomaphrodites),

I don't think there's anything wrong with what Loma said in that quote,he knew there was no reason to call out Pacquiao who would likely demolish him(especially at that point) because he fights 147 lbers regardless of being shorter than loma.

I wouldn't mind seeing that fight & would give Loma atg of this era status if he won vs Pac,but I wouldn't give Pac that much credit regardless. Bottom line is theres nothing wrong with Loma playing it safe while accumulating easy belts & getting tons of money,as long as we don't call it ATG at this point in Lomas career, that's a disservice to Boxings legacy & to Lomas future legacy hopefully.

Conversely if he keeps beating truly top shelf talents around his weightclasses then it will mean a lot more when lomas remembered as an ATG. If he has it easy while others get shtted on for equal to him,then he won't challenge himself as much & won't be as great. Pac has a bunch of losses but since he faced everyone hes an ATG,Cotto the same. DlHoya same,If ggg closes out his career by facing canelo type resume then hell be remembered as an ATG,even if he loses some of those.

Loma needs a high profile win vs a name ANY big name whatsoever (even if its a name only hardcore know),So far Walters & Linares are his best wins IMHO,I actually gave him props vs Linares because he got up & kod his chinny ass finally like he should've went for sooner. But I been saying he would be in dogfights vs decent+ opponents at 135+ & now he yet again looked slightly above average vs Campbell, nothing truly special, Campbell was being called a bum by quite a few of lomas fanbase a while back,& I was being rediculed for saying theres no way loma would ko Campbell without Campbell taking it til late in the fight & winning a few rds,I said loma would yet again look slightly above average (campbells very average)& Loma did not look like an atg vs a 20-1 underdog
