There really is no excuse anymore for a cultural and geopolitical misnomer.
Although we Aussies sometimes like to claim NZ born actors as our own and are geographically close, we are also different countries, and Chisora just exposed how ignorant he is.
Frankly, we Aussies are getting sick to death of ignorant Yanks who, because of their tenuous status as the worlds leading superpower to think that general ignorance of cultural relativity is excusable.

But from a citizen of the head of the Commonwealth? How dense is this guy?

Does he know where to point to on a map?

We are supposed to be a close ally, yet only when your government wants something once every ten years.
The majority still think we live in huts, eat vegemite and have kangaroos as pets.

Parker definitely needs to discover what kind of fighter he is. I honestly don't think he has yet settled into a permanent style that reflects his best assets.

He seems to want to be a technician, boxer with occasional power if it appears safe to do so.

That approach will see him lose, I personally think he needs to get some aggression in his game and go back to the boxer-puncher he was earlier in his career.

Technically New Zealand is a group of islands of Australia (being the "mainland") , so he isn't completely wrong.

But yeah, normally Aussies consider Tasmanians and Kiwis to be a bit different lol.
