I remember him and his camp asking for $20 million from Bob to make the fight happen. But Bob turned it down and made the Horn fight instead. You could tell Top Rank was struggling financially at that time when their top prize fighter has to fight outside the US and ask the Australian government to finance the fighters' purses. Ridiculous.

They've squeezed millions of fees off Manny for more than a decade and yet they couldn't invest a measly $20mil to give Bud that opportunity?

I didn't like how Manny was treated when he was on his way out with Top Rank. If I were Manny, I'd rather give Spence the opportunity over Crawford. Let Bottom Rank rot for all I care.

It's not final. Spence or any of the PBC fighters could still very well end up getting the fight provided they can offer him the price he wanted, this is Pac's team way of shopping both sides of the street. They are trying to create a bidding war between the two network.

I think ur right about Spence possibly trying to be cute just like I think ur right about Bud being the one to try and end it. Bud can start cautious but he escalates when he feels he’s got you. I just think Manny starts fast and it’s hard to put it on him enough to break him down for a tko. He did get slept once but it was in a fourth fight and it was almost the law of averages. I always had Floyd to beat Manny. I wouldn’t have him favoured against Spence or Bud, but I think his style is so unique that it’s an adjustment for everyone. I’d love for Bud to fight him and even take him out. I mean we will never know enough of the numbers in boxing to understand anyone’s “worth” like an algorithm. But yeah Mannys worth whatever they will pay him I guess. I heard pac v Thurman did 500k and Spence v Mikey did 350k. Whatever that all means. I’d just like to see the fight happen. If I can’t see Spence v Bud, I guess mannys the next best fight. Fight the best try and get paid the most for it.!
