I agree with this. I think Marquez would have great difficulty catching Loma with big shots. Marquez did much better with guys who hung around in the pocket. Loma's movement and speed would make it very difficult for Marquez. Pac was more willing to go at Marquez and take bigger risks. Also Manny was a bit more reckless back in the days he when fought Marquez.

I doubt... Loma's style will give JMM trouble... Look how he performed against DSB, TBE (not The Best Ever) and John...

JMM is a pick em fight with Lomachenko. Both ATG material. There's only been one fighter JMM couldn't consistently counter. It would be a great fight.
Marquez couldn't consistently counter Bradley. Timothy won that fight clearly just by boxing Marquez. Marquez was good at countering guys who would get careless and have big lapses in their defense. Bradley made Marquez look pretty average when they fought.

Salido made Loma pretty average too. JMM loves southpaws and Pac at 130 was a way tougher fight than Loma at 135. And in all fairness in the Bradley fight you look at a JMM who came off his biggest win, was fighting a Bradley at 147 where JMM was already past it and besides Bradley's pity pat jab he didn't do anything to Marquez. Watch the fight again. Let's see Loma in his last 2 fights at 147 if he ever decides to go that high.

PS: Loma is not going to box JMM on the outside for 12 rounds, it's not in his DNA, he'd want to trade with JMM and show him that he's the better man and that's where JMM is the best and that's where Loma would get taken out too.

Marquez had a shut-out win over prime Salido. But Loma struggled with him smh.

Prime Marquez and Pacquiao at 130 would starch Loma and make him go back to the amateurs.
