Prime Marquez would've destroyed Lomachenko at 135

this is repetitive of a thread not too long ago
jmm's great counter-punching and combinations makes him very effective when his opponents come at him
but when he is forced to be the aggressor, he looks like a deer caught in the headlights
styles make fights , i think loma outboxes him to a UDComment

You seem pissed that he beat the hell out of Campbell and can't wait to have Marquez KO him in a fantasy fight. I call him an all time great What he has done in such a short time as a pro is amazing. He won world titles in 3 weight classes and beats champion after champion and he wins his fights by a mile. He can't fight Marquez but he beats very good fighters easily time after time. He had a tough loss to Salido in his 2nd fight as a pro and has been unbeatable since then. There were 4 fights between Marquez and Pac but you only go by the last won. The first fight was a draw and Pac almost KOed him in the first round. The next two fights were close and Pac won both of them. The forth fight was about even before Marquez got the KO and Pac had dropped him so it;s not like Marquez had Pac's number. In fact Marquez turned down huge offers for a 5th fight. They both fought Bradley after their 4th fight and Pac beat Bradley by a large amount while Bradley beat Marquez by a large amount.Comment

I thought were talking about 135lbs. There’s not much basis really when it comes to pac (we are just assuming because of his success at higher weights) & marquez at lightweight.. they both made only a total of 3 fights there.. Let alone in the case of Morales.I'd pick prime JMM all day.
Loma was open all night to counter uppercut today but Campbell was too shook to let his hands go, apart from that overhand left he was landing at will.
And the counter uppercut is JMM's bread and butter. Now combine it with JMM's power and the fight won't be close.
I'd pick Floyd, Manny and JMM at 135 to beat him. I might even be tempted to pick Morales and Prince Nazeem as well.
Loma is a better 130lber as he had shown in the past than Marquez and Pac.. (not that they won’t give him a war or possibly beat him there).
This current version of Loma looks beatable, of course we gonna go with the better looking versions of JMM.
At the end of the day styles make fights... The morales that beat pac will give loma a war too at 130.
Jmm is tough as nails, but had shown he had better success when his opponents come at him.. hence the success against pac.. and failures over chris john/bradley/floyd when you try to make him come to you.
Loma handled rigo (albeit smaller) who is a notorious counter puncher himself with blazing speed..
Stylewise rigo, raheem, will probably beat JMM too.. they’d ride their bicycles in that cagey stance... and potshot from a far nullfying marquez’s counters.
Hence I say it’s a toss up.. unless they’re not fighting the best versions of each other.Comment

Marquez had a great chin, he was never KOd. Flash knockdowns through his career mainly due to balance imo. It's like he didn't wake up til he was put on his ass. I never seen him wobbled from a shot.Comment
