Why does Loma get criticised for going 12 rounds?

Same thing happened in the Pedraza fight...people were calling him a hypejob because he went 12 rounds.

Even though he dropped Campbell and hurt him several times, people are doing the same thing now. Dropped Pedraza twice and dropped Campbell. Both are way bigger fighters than Loma. What is the problem? As you move up you can't get KOs that easily anymore..
Loma is not a huge puncher, but he has decent pop. He has hurt all his 15 opponents.

Fact is Campbell only won about 1-2 rounds according to the judges. Myself, I gave him 3. I feel like people are just giving his opponents sympathy rounds for being competitive, when they are not actually winning them...
He is winning wide decisions over top 5 guys in the division...above his natural weight.
Atgs like Floyd Mayweather regularly went the distance. Loma is still dominant, like Mayweather was. Everyone gets hit.
    So why the criticism?

I know he has been hyped up beyond belief. I don't like it either. They put him on a pedestal too much that everytime he doesn't look unbeatable people will start to question him. I get that. But use your head, not your feelings. Call people out that already say he is better than Ali and bs like that. But don't hate on the fighter for the fan's behaviour.

I’m not criticizing him. He won the fight what do we need to give him a handjob too?

Expectations are high from the fans obviously but they are high for the haters as well. If they can see a weakness or a perceived weakness, thats an in to trash him. Its pitiful and childish but Floyds haters did the same, Roy had his and every other great fighter there has ever been.

It’s a boxing forum, so a fighter is either elite or a hypejob/bum/exposed etc. Etc there’s never a reasonable middle ground.

But you’re right, nobody stops everybody at the top level. History tells us that.

It certainly wasn’t a great performance by Lomachenko but Campbell is a good fighter anyway, comfortably beating him on points is a good win. Linares only squeaked past him in a split decision and Campbell’s dad died right before the fight and his mind probably wasn’t there. Campbell’s no joke, so it’s a good win for Loma.
