For the right opponent and the right price yes he should. If Mikey fights once or twice more at 140 and picks up a belt or 2 then a fight against Mikey at 140 makes a lot of sense and it'll be his retirement money fight. Other than that all the other fighters at 140 are not really known and bring nothing to the table financially.

Such a shame Lomachenko turned pro so late, he could've started at 122 if he would've turned pro early, people still want him to go to 140 at any cost but forget that he's already in his 30s and is already undersized at 135, he's not growing naturally anymore like a 21 year old.

And I'm saying I think he's great enough already, to not have to throw his career away, by fighting at even bigger size and power disadvantages than he already is.

He was a 132 pounder in the amateurs. 140 is not a stretch, my opinion.

He's honestly too small at 135. He might **** up and lose to a pretty average fighter at 140. I'm a huge fan but he's more than hit the weight ceiling.

Sure, he could try it but he's small at 135. Nothing is ever enough in boxing I guess. Nobody is Manny Pacquiao moving up 30-40 lbs over his career and having success.

3 weights and undisputed in the 3rd would be a decent achievement dont ya think?

              no, only silly ones do.

I like how folks be like..im a fan of boxing. he needs to move up and prove what he is capable of. dont want to tag names, they are ret*rds anyways. but the funny thing...how do you prove that? by finally losing to way heavier opponent Crawford at 147? i mean...level of degrad*tion is beyond the limit

Loma won't be able to compete at 140, let alone 147.

Remember what Pacquiao did in late ‘08? He jumped up 2 weight classes to fight De La Hoya. A year later he fought Cotto at 145. He stepped into the unknown. Did the little fella stop there? NO !! He fought a freaking giant in Margarito at 150 the following year.

Lomachenko needs to grow a pair of balls and do the same. Throw himself in there with the big boys & achieve greatness.

Lomachenko as a prizefighter is as talented as Pacquiao was. We’re talking about achieving greatness, my friend. “Decent” = above average. Not great.

That's probably one of the worst examples you could've given me. Pacquiao's special, specifically because of how much a freak of nature he is. The man won world titles in 8 divisions, and just beat the breaks off of a prime welterweight world champion at 40. Men like that come around once in a lifetime. If everybody could do that, then Pac wouldn't be as revered as he is.

We've seen fighters jump up 2 weight divisions and fail spectacularly. Kell Brook was nearly blinded in one eye by GGG and was never the same. Mikey Garcia got whooped by Spence, and now he's stuck in a shark tank. Just because Pac could do it, doesn't mean Loma can. They are two completely different fighters.

Gotta love the armchair critic telling a boxer, who's wrecking his body fighting top-level competition, to grow a pair of balls. While you're on a forum telling Loma to grow a pair, he's making stacks and stacking world titles.

Achieve greatness? He's already done that. He took out the #1 fighter at his 3rd weight division in his 1st fight there. Now, he's almost undisputed with less than 20 fights. That's greatness.

What’s the matter with you, man? Why don’t you wanna see Lomachenko achieve greatness. OK, he’s achieved that already. Why not take it to the next level?

What are you trying to say? He can’t emulate Pacquiao’s success against bigger opponents? Sure not everybody can do it but isn’t he a special kind of fighter too?

You got it all wrong. I ain’t critiquing this eastern Euro fella. I’m encouraging him to be greater than great. Yeah, grow a pair of balls and dare to be an ATG.

You must have an agenda if you keep holding him back. You act like you’re his #1 fan but secretly want him to be only above average.
