Man i feel bad for Martinez, that was a dominating performance, the guy is crafty and explosive, but at the same time the liver shot hit Edwards after he had taken a knee, but honestly tho while it sucks for Martinez to have to go home without his 1st world title i doubt this changes much, i dont think Edwards want the rematch, he got absolutely destroyed, also hopefully a big name promoter like maybe Golden Boy might pick Martinez up now after seeing his potential and the rematch will probably happen at a more neutral location, so Martinez will get his world title soon enough and this will be a good lesson for the future, but understandably the illegal punch was in the heat of the moment and referee was terribly slow, man UK rly has some ****ty refs, i also gotta say that while i rly dislike that slimeball Mauricio Sulaiman, he really handled this situation very well, a no contest was fair, a DQ wouldve been unfair since it wasnt an intentional foul, either way Martinez got a bright future, he was rly exciting to watch and hes gonna be a problem
