It was a bad foul but the BBBofC would never have allowed an ad hoc rule change like that if the roles of the fighters had been reversed. I also suspect that Edwards hammed up the reaction to the late shot specifically in order to get Martinez DQed. It's funny how I ended up feeling sorry for the one who committed the foul
