Comments Thread For: Michael Zerafa Drops, Stops Jeff Horn In Nine Rounds

Jeff Horn's dream of a middleweight title fight gave way to a bloody nightmare. The Battle of Bendigo began with a controversy over the use of ring card girls and ended with Michael Zerafa scoring a 9th round knockout in a stunning upset Saturday evening in Bendigo, Australia. Zerafa scored knockdowns in rounds two and nine, the latter frame seeing Horn battered and eventually rescued from further punishment.

Zefera is not a bad fighter but you have to wonder how Jeff Horn beat Pacquaio.

That's a bad loss on his record albeit past his prime.

Size plus rough tactics. Even guys like Hussein and Sanchez have done that to him. How much more bigger guys who are allowed to fight dirty by the ref?

Pacquiao kicked his ass so bad he took the prime out of Horn. Horn was never the same after that ass kicking he received from Pacquiao.

It was a hometown decision. Bob was trying to set up a trilogy like he did with Pacquaio-Bradley but Pacquiao wasn't having it this time and left for PBC.
