Crawford is now trying hard--desperate to get to Pacquiao before he grows old overnight against any PBC fighter. He had a million chances when Manny was in the same stable as he is, but he was acting nonchalantly, no sense of urgency whatsoever, he even demanded at one time that Pacquiao must come down to 140lbs to fight him. Lmao

If there was to blame for this terrible loss of opportunity for Crawford, he could only blame it on his own self and Bob Arum. He did not bother to confront Arum that he wanted that fight badly, to pay Manny what he wants so that he could have the opportunity to take that torch from Pacquiao which is very vital for his resume. And of course he should blame Bob Arum because he didn't trust him well enough that he could beat Pacquiao to invest on him.

And now, Bob Arum has found his new favorite pet--an apple of his eye in Tyson Fury.

He was told he was going to get the fight. That's why he extended his contract with them. That's why he wasn't calling for it.

Why all the criticism for a champion who wants to fight another champion? That's what he's supposed to do

So he was told to wait 4 + years to wait for the fight? Nonsense. He was waiting to age Pac, PoS move only puss.ies do that.

Manny Pacquiao will basically fight whomever if he can get his $20m guarantee; PBC likely sees that being coverable with SpenceJr, Danny, and Mikey, but freedom creates moving parts that slow things up.

If the business tracks and shows that fighting Errol Spence Jr will draw more money to Pacquiao, a decision will be made; with all three fights basically having the same danger (Danny Garcia's balance/timing will take away most of the in-out stuff that Pacquiao likes and leave him in danger), the biggest opportunity will be the one taken. And that'd be SpenceJr.

With the camp openly counting down Pacquiao's exit, leaving out on a fight for the old undisputed welterweight champion would be a nice way to go.

Expect Pacquiao to fight 1-2 more times and call it a day (maybe one after, depending on how the fights go); $80m+ in 4 fights, pay the current taxes and settle any remaining US taxes, finally settle the tax issues with the BIR in his home country, sell whatever US assets he has that his family isn't explicitly utilizing when they're here, double down on the sponsors/marketing available in Asia, try to be a legislator, and get ready for the run after Duterte.

Crawford is stuck with whatever bull**** Arum has for him, because he took that inflated guarantee money to get stuck

Crawford is 0-2 in terms of successful PPV efforts; Spence is on his way to 2-0 on PPV.

Spence passed Crawford when Jerry Jones bought 8000 to re-sell the venue (with Spence's draw covering) for the Ocampo fight.

Manny gives Crawford a chance at maybe getting to parity; Arum screwed that by not wanting to spend the money.

I should use the word implied instead of told. Looking at articles prior to Crawford re-signing there was a lot of talk about the Manny vs. Crawford fight from Bob.
