Very well thought out and honest post.To be fair I think it’s probably our fault.
We’re used to competing internationally in team sports and there is that hangover in boxing.
Sport in general for the British in particular is a proxy war even within the Island itself. Scotland are s.hit at everything but any sporting event against the English can evoke memories of ancient battles. Our true sporting rivals being the ones we’ve had literal wars against.
Orwell knew the score yonks ago.
Yanks don’t really have that. They compete against themselvesComment

I don't think alot of Americans dislike British fans,I think alot of Americans dislike Eddie hearn,I never saw dislike between Americans and Brits till hearn brought his pompous ass on the scene and tried to put down American fighters, then he tried to sign them,we don't do business like that here,I think once hearn and his supporters fade to the back when aj loses again things will go back to normalComment

I think you misunderstood so I'm going to try to be more on-the-nose.It is how it works here. I’m certain of it.
Football is war without the guns on an international scale.
Also unless you win a football World Cup then that doesn’t ring true.
The women’s World Cup doesn’t count. Army’s of women don’t fight wars.
Anything else you dominate at is largely on per capita basis.
We dominate things we pour money into as well. Like track cycling. Eventually Americans might spend more on it but they’ll largely have to copy what we’ve done.
Your not better at anything. Obviously. Nobody is.
I didn't mean to come off as 'better than you' in anyway actually. We're not a ****geneous nation bud, 'pour money', pretty much the only explanation we can give ourselves.
Literally descended from youse lot.
I had two points really. The idea that boxing can emotionally take the place of war is super old and kind of the point of the sport, and, we, like you, have a whole plethora of international sports we participate in that y'all may not have interest in.Comment
