"Boringchenko" is headlining a sold out PPV show in front of 20k fans this weekend. 1000s of miles from his home to unify the belts in the division ABOVE where he should be. He is being cheered to the rafters in his open workout.

If Davis even dreams he is that big of a deal he better wake up and apologize.

Doesn't matter. He has Tank problems and Arum can talk ****nall he wants but he will never let the fight happe. bTW the reason why the ticket sales are is because Hearn is promoting and where the fight is taking place. That's credit to matchroom not top rank. Like Eddie said Boma and top rank dam near had 800 people at their last fight. Then khan quit and stole ppl money and even that fight with Terrance Duckford headlining didn't do well. Boringchenko has Tank Davis problems.🥊

Does this explain why Bob didnt make so many fights back in the day?

Idk that this is correct thinking doe. I think plenty of guys are moved in a safety first type way these days. Canelo is a perfect example. He gave up the belt to better time a fight with GGG & you can argue his team has timed other fights. Obviously the Floyd fight wasnt one of them, but that was a no lose situation for them unlike his other fights.

Its not an exciting or fan friendly approach to the sport but more people than ever seen to have that has their plan A til they get a belt, a name or the money that they have as their primary goal. And for Tank specifically I think they wanna get his name just a lil bigger before they take more career defining fights. I think they wanna slow build him another year or two til a Loma fight makes the most sense.

Problem is, folks act like if a guy loses once, he's a bum and he's washed.

Maybe if that wasn't the case, the fight would get made

Yea I was about to add something along those lines to my post.

Things can always be sped up or slowed down with how quickly things cans change in boxing. So a bad night by Loma or some incredible leap forward by Tank could change the thought process of when this fight gets made.

I mainly just hope it happens. To me it seems pretty no lose for Tank doe so I wish they'd make it within the next 6-12mos. I think a good % of people think Loma either outclasses Tank 12-0 or stops him mid to late so Tank perfoming to the level I expect him to just adds value to his name even if he comes up short.
