This ChickenDrado should have fought Derev in final eliminator when he decided to run away from a risky opponent!
Now that bad move still hurts, his fault only. He screwed 1.5 year for Derev but he screwed his career too.

This chickensht can blame only himself for being a nobody while having a belt.
Demetrius Andrade vs. Sergiy Derevyanchenko possible for Daniel Jacobs card on April.28 of 2018
Former light middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade could be facing unbeaten middleweight contender Sergiy Derevyanchenko (11-0, 9 KOs) on the Daniel Jacobs card on HBO Boxing on April 28 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
It would be surprising if Andrade, 29, accepts the fight with Derevyanchenko, because when he was talking about him recently, he didn’t seem enthusiastic about facing him.

They need to get back that BJS fight & whoever wins that should be in line for Canelo for real. Or fight someone with some clout & respect to bump him up to worthy Canelo opponent.
Yeah it's not just everybody else fault, his Dad/Manger allegedly has ruined some big fights for him by trying to demand too much "Allegedly"

Andrade turned down the Lara fight on ESPN Friday Night Fights

Also he walked away from the Jemell Charlo fight because he "thought" he was getting a huge deal with Roc Nation which never happened then he turned around and sued Roc Nation because they did not do the deal with him. Now looking at how things played out, that would've been yet another awful career move

So yeah absolutely Andrade and his team seems to always find a way to screw up big opportunities as well

I need a link with unequivocal proof.

I vaguely remember reading an article before once I googled what you said. I think it was the same one that came up. I believe there's information that gets omitted from the Jermell fight but he definitely was incorrectly advised by Roc Nation.

But it seems because of that scenario people want to believe Andrade just pulls out of fights on the regular. Same thing with the Derevyanchenko situation. That stigma is probably why he took the BJS fight on a yr layoff when in an ideal situation he probably wouldn't.

To the point though: Andrade denied what you're saying in the article I read. Ya'll can't automatically just believe 1 side because Andrade pulled out of that 1 fight yrs ago & spread information like that. Unless again you have unequivocal proof.

I want one also. Some other clown is saying Canelo was offered an ADDITIONAL $5 million to fight Andrade over anyone else??? WTF is he SMOKING??? It was $5 million LESS because they knew Andrade would want at least $11 mill plus! He has almost zero fans. Just recently LOST a cheap @ss bid and had to fight in Germany!!!!

If i was him i would just keep the title and box undefeated until he gets closer to 40-0 and then people will start to notice his name and demand GGG or canelo tonight him.

                He's a good talent.

If Andrade doesn't do something quick he's gonna be one of those fighters who only gets his just due & loved AFTER his career.

It comes to my mind often that a bunch of people who don't know shìt or discredited him are gonna be talking about damn he really was the best when his career is pretty much over smh.

If he was sweet they woulda took that sweet "0" long time ago. We know his difficulty making fights of what's been made public. But I can just imagine the hell it is behind the scenes.. this dude is the most avoided fighter in boxing & it ain't even close.
Maybe now he is the most avoided, but that wasn't always the case.

He ducked Lara three times and Jermell Charlo twice, so you can't really say he is the most avoided ever.

At middleweight however he is the most avoided.

                      2015:

                      Again in 2017:
"I'd like to face Demetrius Andrade, who talks too much. But to tell you the truth, at the moment he doesn't want to face me. He is asking for a lot of money, an amount of money that he does not deserve. If we finally don't reach any type of agreement with Andrade, then we will be looking at Jarrett Hurd, the International Boxing Federation champion. I still have two more fights left in 2017. One of them will be against someone important," Lara said.

That seems to be the Perception, I don't know if it is true or not but the perception is that he has indeed been offered some BIG FIGHTS but him, his dad or whoever start having all these Demands and start asking for a lot of money when good fights are offered

Of course Andrade should be compensated well for bigger fights absolutely but at this point in his career you might have to take a Sh#t Deal just so that you can get on that big stage so the world can finally see just how talented you are
