If Loma really is P4P #1 in the world.......

Then move to 140 and fight Manny Pacquiao.

Come on, Pac will be 41 years old. That’s ancient for a short little man.

    You can do it, Vasyl.

I think Tyson Fury or Crawford. Loma, Canelo, Golovkin, Spence, Wilder would make up my top 7, not sure on order.

Huge respect to Loma for not fighting Pac. He might be the only boxer with enough integrity and respect to not call out the old man. He knows a win over Pac would get him absolutely nothing

Well Fury has beaten better fighters than Crawford has

How anyone has Crawford near the top 3 is ridiculous, what’s his best win? Postol?

I’m a fan of Crawford, I think he’s really good but you can’t be up at the top of P4P lists when you’ve never beaten good names

I don't get why some people think Fury isn't a top P4P contender just cause he's a HW. Let's face facts, if Fury faced a Linares level HW, He'd toy with him, Loma went life and death with Linares. The smaller weights P4P wise can be overrated. Loma is a hell of a fighter, as is Crawford, but are they Better than Fury? I would not say so.

P4P #1 doesn't mean you have to go beyond your limits. Not every fighter can be at their best at 6 or 8 weight classes. Loma has proven to be the best at three of them, and will likely move down to 130 after Commey. Mikey has no desire to fight him at 135, and Lopez has gone into hiding ever since he was told he needs to get through Commey to get to Loma. Tank wants to hide out at 130, so Loma will have to move down to get money fights against Berchelt, Valdez, Tank etc.

HWs don't belong on p4p lists

p4p used to be a title. There was only one p4p just like one champion. It comes from the early days when weight divisions were not set. People still realized HWs do not move like LWs and such. By the time of Nonpareil Dempsey and John L Sullivan p4p had become a relatively normal phrase for the casual boxing fan. p4p was a comparison to the HW champion. You can't be the HW champion or a HW under his reign and be the p4p best in boxing. Nonpariel was the p4p greatest when Sully was champ.

Ring, being a promotional platform itself, is where placing p4p in lists came from. It's also where p4p being some kind of attribute given to any possessing impressive accolades regardless of size came from.

p4p lists are no different than those who conflate the ring belt with the lineal title. It's not a big deal, but, y'all wrong. The baddest if the HW champion and the best is p4p. There can only be one in each respective field. Multiple champs is a sanctioning body thing, multiple p4ps is a promotional platform thing. The real titles are singular.

How about fighting the WBSS winner?

Would fighting the #1 guy at 140 get him p4p #1 to you? That's way more realistic

                    Also, Bud is the p4p.

Loma can either go undisputed or step up in weight. By olden standards he's nothing but a claimant if he doesn't. Bud's a true champion. Usyk is too but he's a HW now. Nope, he doesn't need to actually fight at HW to be a HW. The olden standard is willingness alone. He's pledged he's willing to fight at HW, he's a HW.
