Kovalev has the right trainer to give him a chance but he's older and it shows. As I see it, Kovalev's problem is that his inside fight game is nonexistent and Canelo has the head movement to get inside at will. Callum Smith, Caleb Plant, David Benavidez, Billy Joe Saunders and every other belt holder at 175lber beat Canelo & most by KO.

BTW, yes, you read that right. Billy Joe Saunders style is all wrong for Canelo and he beats Canelo fairly easy at any weight.

Make no mistake about it, this fight is about superior match making.

Gvozdyk, Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev stop Canelo EASY..period. Kovelev is old and ripe at 175lbers or Canelo wouldn't fight him. You have your opinion but every expert agrees with me. BTW, Benavidez, Dirrell, Smith and Plant beat Canelo and he knows it or he would be fighting one of them instead. Look at the odds and tell me who's dumber than a rock.

As for BJS, Canelo already refused to fight BJS and more than once. Floyd said BJS beats Canelo but what does he know. Canelo will never fight Billy Joe because he's not David Lemieux.

Kovalev has nothing inside and can't take it to the body. Canelo's head movement will allow him to close the gap and go right to the body.

You silly how can you compare Bererbiev or even other solid punchers in light heavyweight with GGG. All Light heavyweight champions except Kovalev KO clenelo. It is so obvious clenelo wouldnt fight any prime champions. To be frank I truly believe even well past his prime old Kovalev can outbox clenelo. If kovalev keeps clenelo at distance he outboxes him easily.
