I didn't post that. I posted he should fight the winner of Spence/Porter and the winner fights Crawford. I then posted ideally he'd fight Crawford (#2 v #3) and the winner would fight the winner of Spence (#1)/Porter (#4).

There is absolutely nothing wrong with either scenario and the best way we get to a true undisputed lineal ww champ.

Floyd has no bearing on this discussion. His fight against Berto was set up so he could stay undefeated for fight 50. His fight with Conor was good for the sport because it generated huge revenue and put the #1 MMA attraction ever inside a boxing ring as the clear B side-reinforcing the fact that boxing is the superior sport over MMA.

The tenshin fight was a cash grab for a retired fighter. Floyd could make the Conor an tenshin fights because of everything he accomplished. It was a reward for winning and transcending the sport, sort of like Ali fighting Inoki. Not every fighter can do this.

I have watched the sport for more than 30 years. I am as real a boxing fan as it gets.

No, Manny does not have the same cache so he can not make those type of fights. Floyd and Manny are not equal. I did post Manny can fight who he chooses, that doesn't mean he will have the same opportunities Floyd did.

Floyd /Berto has no bearing on this situation. I don't understand why you, hugh grant or anyone would bring it up other than you know the Manny/Garcia fight is a bad one and you can't justify it so you have to point to Floyd and say "well Floyd fought a poor fight so many can too." That is childish reasoning.

Danny/Manny right now is a waste of a fight because Manny is the WBA champ and most boxing fans prefer a unification fight that brings us closer to a lineal champ over a non mandatory title defense.

if you want Manny to only fight guys you think he can beat just post that.

Im sure this fight was offered to dsg a few years back and they outright rejected it. Prefer this over spence as it would be competitive i think, also hoped porter boxed pac before spenfe got to him... think that would have been a good scrap
