Comments Thread For: Lomachenko Overwhelmed By Show of Support From UK Fans

WBA, WBO lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko admits that he was a bit overwhelmed by the show of support from the British fans, who came out to watch the boxer show his stuff at the open workouts on Wednesday. The vacant WBC title is also up for grabs, when Lomachenko faces Luke Campbell at the O2 Arena in London, on Saturday night.

There were also many ethnic Ukrainians in the crowd who live in England.

The public always know substance when they see one.
Does not matter where you come from.

Campbell is no slouch either. Hope he is not being underestimated.
Strange things can happen in a boxing ring.

There has been plenty this year already.

Anyone that denies that the UK has had a great influence in the resurgence in boxing in recent years is deluded imo. From pundits and media to talented amateurs and world champions. Big events filling arenas , domestic showdowns. And amazing fans. From Newcastle to Leeds to London, Liverpool, Manchester, Belfast, Josh Taylor when he fights at home tremendous support. UK loves and supports boxing so for all those who criticize the UK fighters or fans remember how much they support the sport with revenue and love for the fighters internationally..we always show love to visiting fighters they would all testify. There isn't an Andre dirrell video without a brit saying he was robbed vs froch. Real fans fr

No. Eddie Hearn got an injunction banning the UK media from mentioning that.

I mean what are these people thinking right... Its almost as if the few posters on nsb who have a agenda against Loma are part of a very small minority who besides posting dumb comments are virtually non existent and opinions mean very little to the majority.

                    .

I respect this brotherīs skills, if I were to be in London, I would be there live to see him fight even though I am rooting for Luke. Loma is a scientist in the ring and a special fighter. You donīt see fighter like him on daily basis.
