Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Truly Believe Campbell Will Be Loma's Toughest Test!

Promoter Eddie Hearn fully believes that his boxer, Luke Campbell, is capable of pulling off a major upset on Saturday night, when he faces WBA and WBO world lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko on Saturday night. The vacant WBC world title will also be at stake, when the two boxers collide at The O2 Arena in London.

He may be right about Campbell being Loma's toughest test and in the spirit of national unity I hope he does pull off the upset. I just think he will fall short though and maybe get stopped late, or KD's being the difference in a points loss.

Yeah, I see Campbell making it a nip and tuck affair but ultimately coming up short. I really rate Campbell high and enjoy watching him employ his skill sets.

It looks like for Loma it's no differnce whom to demolish when he's healthy if the opponent is not from middleweight or above. I predict total outclass.

Lomachenko is a class apart but the size difference, the styles and Campbell's pedigree I believe will make it a good fight. If Lomachenko can take his jab away it will be one sided but I can see it being an 8-4 type of fight. Campbell really impressed with his re-match win vs. Mendy.

I was at his fight with Linares and was impressed with him. His dad had just died, he was fighting way out of his comfort zone and found himself down early and outclassed. Then he got into a rhythm and I think won 5 of the last 6 rounds and made it a 1 point either way type of fight. He probably took so much from that fight.

I just cant see it, I dont think any of us are giving him a chance to win but i also dont think this is going to be particulary tough for Loma either. Campbell will do everything right and it wont be nearly enough. Loma will just close the gap so quickly it will be like the Brit doesnt have any size or reach advantages.

                    Salido was Lomachenko's toughest test.
