Canelo Alvarez Popularity Decreasing Since Joining DAZN (Proof)

According to google trends, Canelo's popularity has been diminishing since joining DAZN. His fight against Chavez Jr back in 2017 got more attention than his fights against Fielding and Jacobs combined. More evidence that DAZN is bad for boxing!

I don't even wanna get into the specifics of Canelo or the actual graph image.

If you're a boxing fan to the point where you make an account on a boxing forum or just a real boxing fan period. I don't understand why you would want to see Dazn fail. I'm just speaking in general for detractors. There's literally a whole network of fighters who would could be in limbo if Dazn didn’t exist. Which means: fighters would be less active & their purses would probably be less or less money to go around. Which ultimately as a fighter we know is most important.

Boxing is literally a broke ass sport. The fans & fighters in it are forever complaining about money. Shìt is sad. Dazn may not have the best stable, may or may not be putting on the best fights but one thing that's undoubtable is they have about 5 fighters who at least have p4p potential & are better individually than majority of other networks fighters.

If Dazn can't sustain itself you're missing out on a platform that has invested greatly into boxing. You can't monopolize the sport. HBO is gone, not 1 PBC platform or ESPN has the budget to monopolize it even if they wanted to! No 1 platform can pay all these fighters the type of money they want. So if you're cheering for Dazn's failure in a sport you "like or love." You're not only removing 1 of it's 4 major networks but you're also removing the ability for these fighters to have a platform to showcase their skillset. Which means you don't want the sport to flourish...

Lol. Stop killing them with facts. Numbers don’t lie so expect them to come in here crying and deflecting. As usual.
Which is crazy because any other time they claim they’re all about the truth.

HBO was the best platform to build up and market a fighter so this isnt surprising news.

Maybe it has something to with the fact that he fought more popular fighters than Fielding and Jacobs?

Why won't you post the number searches from the time he fought Liam Smith? Cause I'm looking at it right now and they were worse than the numbers he did against Fielding and Danny

This. DAZN is getting off the ground. The central conceit of all of these (very sad) threads is "Lack of overnight runaway success = utter failure!" which as someone over the age of, uh, 13 is immensely difficult to take seriously.
