Eras, bro, eras. This one is weak. I remember Vargas fighting Tito at age 22. It was electric. Boxing was something else those days.

If he feels he is better than Crawford, jump two weight classes and prove it, Mikey did, Manny did, Oscar did, Floyd did.

That's the difference between those fighters, and Lomo, they talked about being great, and went for it, wtf is lomo doing?

He is doing a GGG, talking big, and building up a BS persona that is based on questionable opposition.

I would rate Manny, Crawford, Canelo, Fury, ahead of Lomo because strength of schedule matters in boxing, you can't fight a small amount of fights against old, overmatched, or incomplete opposition, and elevate yourself to that level.

Please dude, Lomo's problem is he cannot separate his prior career from his professional one, nobody gives a sh/t about his gold medals, or the fact that he spent his prime fighting incredibly overmatched fighters, when it comes to PFP.

As a pro his resume is so so at best, esp with that loss to a journeyman, and the cherry picked nature of his opposition.

If Lomo jumps to 147, and starts tearing up the division, then we can talk about him being pound for pound #1

I am pretty sure he is number 2 after you!

I can agree if you are saying Davis is the bigger star in the US. Then Gervonta will have to initiate the preliminaries.
Regardless of all that, it’s Davis people who have said they don’t want the fight now, which isn’t a good starting point. But yea, I agree arum should put something out there. I’d like to see this fight no later than next year.

Nice. At the end of the video, Loma says Davis is the man he wants to fight.

His fanboys, who call him Stank Davis, should take notice. If Loma is the best fighter in the world, what does that say about Davis?

          Loma knows his boxing.

Have you seen a post of mine where I say Loma is ducking Davis? No. Arum might have a different idea.

it makes tank davis great because loma wants to fight him? so he doesn't even have to fight anyone good. wow that works out perfectly for tank since that is what he is already doign.

He was asked who he wanted to fight next, in terms of difficulty, and he said Davis. I understood he meant that's the top competition. No?

You should watch what he says about Davis here. He wants to fight him to prove to people who doubt him.

Before I watch it, who do you think Loma should fight next that's better than Davis? Then I'll watch.

Ooooh. I think a whole lot of talk coming in 2020, about Tank and Loma. Davis has potential to be a P4P pay per view star, that's evident.
That's such a big fight and step up for Davis, I wonder if they'll risk him losing, this early in his career. It appears as though Loma will be pushing for this bout by the end of 2020.
The sooner the better, for Loma. The later the better, for Davis. November 2020 --> Lomachenko vs Davis.
