They gat him ranked #1 so why show lack of confidence and say nah im not "...." Is better than me?
Lomo calling himself PFP #1 is absurd

Sure if you want to recognise some secondary regular belt. But I, and most people, don’t. The WBA shouldn’t be allowed to crown 2 ‘world champions’Comment

Are you sure you didnt mean to make this thread about Crawford?I have been saying it for awhile, Lomo is far more arrogant and off putting than people realize, and in this case, he is off base.
If he feels he is better than Crawford, jump two weight classes and prove it, Mikey did, Manny did, Oscar did, Floyd did.
That's the difference between those fighters, and Lomo, they talked about being great, and went for it, wtf is lomo doing?
He is doing a GGG, talking big, and building up a BS persona that is based on questionable opposition.
I would rate Manny, Crawford, Canelo, Fury, ahead of Lomo because strength of schedule matters in boxing, you can't fight a small amount of fights against old, overmatched, or incomplete opposition, and elevate yourself to that level.
Please dude, Lomo's problem is he cannot separate his prior career from his professional one, nobody gives a sh/t about his gold medals, or the fact that he spent his prime fighting incredibly overmatched fighters, when it comes to PFP.
As a pro his resume is so so at best, esp with that loss to a journeyman, and the cherry picked nature of his opposition.
If Lomo jumps to 147, and starts tearing up the division, then we can talk about him being pound for pound #1Comment

salido was #2 when loma fought him. now it is possible for a journeyman to be ranked highly with an upset win baldomir style but salido was a top 5 guy for 5 years. he didnt fall off the earth baldomir style after losing. he won some. he lost some. he fought great competition so thats what happened. he could have been tank and fought bums to get your respect i guessI have been saying it for awhile, Lomo is far more arrogant and off putting than people realize, and in this case, he is off base.

well he's already jumped up 2 weight classes, same as Crawford. can you accept that these guys are not the same size? why isn't Crawford moving to 160 to prove his greatness vs canelo?Comment

I think crawford and spence shouild jump weight to fight canelo, Mayweather fought him at 154 at fighting at 130 at one point in his career.
Jumping from 135 to 147, or 147 to 160 like SRL and duran did, is the mark of greatness, some are about that life, Oscar, Manny, Floyd, Duran, even Broner's bum a$$ and some, as is the case with GGG and Lomo, are not bout that life, it is what it is.
It's easy to stay in a watered down division, avoid the real comp, and call your self great.
I would have all the respect in the world if Lomo moved up to 140, and fought Jose R(they are in the same stable)a rough, and tough junior welterweight with boxing skills, size, and ambition, he is only ONE weight class away, but I am sure I will be inundated with excuses as to why that fight is unentable for lomo.Comment

I think the better fights for loma are at 130, or maybe tank Davis could move to 135 to face loma...he is only ONE weight class away, but I’m sure we’ll be inundated with excuses as to why that fight is untenable for tank.Comment
