Get your facts straight. GBP and Canelo wanted to make this fight to get an exception for the IBF mando. DAZN wouldn’t approve Andrade for Canelo as they were trying to force a third GGG fight. No ducking there.
Once Derv turned down a career payday to take an easier fight for the same pay, Andrade wasn’t as attractive a fight as unifying all the titles is off the table as of now.
Canelo is trying to make a more difficult fight going up 2 weight classes here, not beat some unproven guy at 160. Andrade and fighters like him are a dime a dozen.

This was before DAZN said only Chenko or Kovalev. Chenko turned down $5.5 million to take an easier fight for the same money.
Andrade’s not a scrub, but he hasn’t beaten anyone of note to say he’s an elite guy.
