Canelo fans gonna act like GGG has no shot since it's nost likely Canelo's next fight. Golovkin and Canelo would be favored to beat Kovalev right now by anybody with an ounce of common sense....

Did you not hear the sparring rumors that GGG was pretty much owning Kovalev when they were stablemates?

i will favor canelo for his body attack, but ggg was afraid to go to the body vs canelo, imagine once he feels kovas power...
i see both fights really close, i will slightly favor canelo for his inside game and his speed which is better than golovkins, but i will like to see how you envision kova-ggg ?

I’d pick GGG by late stoppage.

          Interesting fight...

Because he knew he'd get countered by Canelo if he did. Kov is a much different fight. G and Canelo stop this current version of Kovalev with body shots....

Yeah I’ve heard the stories but personally I don’t put too much stock in sparring.

There’s so many variables to take into account.

One guy could be close to peak fitness whereas the other could be out of shape and in their first spar after a lay-off.

Either way it’s a whole different story in the ring.

Before Cleverly fought Kovalev he spoke about how heavyweights like Fury and Chisora couldn’t drop him in sparring so he wasn’t worried about Kovalev hurting him....

Sparring can give a false sense of security. In the grand scheme of things all that matters is what happens under the bright lights.

Why would it end his career?

Kovalev got ko'd badly by Alvarez and bounced back to win the rematch.

Those things are true but there's no reason to believe that Canelo can beat Kov and then think that GGG has no chance.

                    ^ This

Canelo is a counter specialist with better timing and faster hands than Kovalev.

Really? I mean ****ing REALLY? The guy avoided 168 like if it was the plage and now you believe that somehow he will have the Cojones to fight at 175? GGG loses on the fact of being a "No Show"..
