of course that's why they want kovalev now. you won't hear them talk about beterbiev or gvozdyk, nor bivol. and it would be ok for canelo to not take those fights since he isn't a LHW. but even then they'll most likely drain kovalev one way or another, even past his prime kovalev is still very dangerous at this stage, specially for the smaller alvarez.
