Wow, most of the people posting their outrage on this thread live in countries and very likely voted for leaders that murdered millions around the world in the not too distant past and still are now. We are talking about boxing and new markets. Boxing making inroads anywhere and lifting the profile of the sport is good for the whole sport.

Saudis are hungry for entertainment options. This is a good event all around. We need new markets for our sport, I think UFC is in Abu Dhabi a week prior to this. The demand for combat sports is huge in this region and is the disposable income. I bet both events are sold out and ticket prices will be quite high.

AJ and Ruiz will be treated as royalty over there.
