Lol man...I mean I would say running through Monroe Murray Macklin Lemieux Proksa Rosado Ishida Ouma Brook Stevens Rubio Adama Geale Rolls Vanes...hardly losing a round and showing no issues...all by KO is a very good run...individually he should win all of those, but most guys taking on 15 good fighters like that, they would have had a hiccup imo...G never did and never really had any issues in any of the fights.

To your other stuff about the money fights and BJS and Ward and 154...I mean I just think you are very one sided with all of that stuff...you seem intent on trying to make GGG out to be less than by any means possible...I just don't really think that is a neutral take on the situations there but if that's how you want to see it I won't try and change your mind.

I think I'm calling it what it is. I'm weighing GGG against the same standards the greats were weighed against. Yes he gets credit for beating guys he was supposed to beat. Those guys (outside Vanes and Brook) all got beat up by others as well. 3 fights where he wasn't the clear favorite and all were arguably losses even if I agree with the documented results.

Yes, I do hold it against him that he hasn't beaten clean a guy that's considered top level.

It's the biggest money fight besides Canelo...makes sense...ask Floyd what he would do...Ward the other day said that it was prize fighting...not pride fighting...do you disagree?

G especially should take the money if it is there...no matter what he does or who he beats some on here will never give him any love...might as well get paid as much as possible and fight some good fights along the way.

My 2 cents is the rumor that G 'turned down' the Andrade fight is just that...a rumor...even at his age no one really wants to fight G...he is still good and strong, and is a very tough physical fight that doesn't pay that well.

Andrade, as everyone else does, has his eyes on Nelo because that is the big payday/increase

G-Dervy is like 1 vs 5 at MW...why not 3 and 4 mix it up if number 2 is going to fight someone else?

Andrade and Charlo had plenty of time to fight each other prior to Jermall going to DAZN. It's obvious they avoided each other.

As a side note and I'm not blaming any boxers for this. Under the Ali Act a network is prohibited from restricting who their fighters box. Under the Act a broadcaster is treated as a promotor.

It just looks bad in the eyes of fans that Golovkin picked out a fighter that is ranked so low, and had never fought a good contender during his career. What made Golovkin look especially bad is Canelo and De La Hoya told him ahead of time that they wanted him to win a world title in order to give them a reason to make the trilogy fight in September. Golovkin still chose Rolls, even though he would be risking losing the fight with Canelo. Did Golovkin not believe Canelo and De La Hoya when they said he needed to win a world title or did he simply think that DAZN will be the one that makes the decision whether the trilogy fight takes place in September?

DAZN recently signed Golovkin to a six-fight contract. They’re paying him a lot of money to fight guys like Rolls. How long will they agree to let Golovkin fight guys like that? It’s not realistic to assume that Canelo is going to fight Golovkin in all five of his remaining bouts of his contract with DAZN. The streaming giant would likely be happy if Canelo and Golovkin did that, but it’s not going to happen. They’ll definitely get at least one fight between them, but probably not more than that.

If Canelo beats GGG in the third fight, that’ll be the end of it. Canelo isn’t going to just keep fighting Golovkin to help him get a golden parachute with his retirement. Canelo wants to fight other guys. More importantly, Canelo wants Golovkin to keep striving, and showing that he’s trying to achieve things with his career instead of just taking soft fighters in between the fights with Alvarez. There’s a lot of fans that think Golovkin is just cashing out at this point with his career. They think the only serious fighter that Golovkin wants to fight is Canelo, and that’s just because it’ll bring him a lot of money. It’s a win-win for Golovkin, even if he loses again to Canelo.

Some boxing fans believe GGG is just looking for easy paydays against guys that present no problems for him. GGG’s critics point out that he didn’t fight Derevyanchenko, Andre Ward, Andrade and Erislandy Lara. These are all guys that wanted to fight GGG in the past.

G has already earned it...those guys haven't gotten to that level...he earned it by dominating MW for 5 years...those guys to earn that top level or close to it need to fight someone...simple as that.

G is 37 and has had a great career...yet some (like you probably give him bare minimum credit...say all of his good wins suck...every time he has gone 12 rounds you say he lost even though they are 3 clear Ws...why should he try and please you...no matter what he does you will hate so I'm glad he is at least getting paid...and being great while doing it
