They won't fight each other because they are afraid of losing. Only one guy can win the fight and they are not going to risk it. Both guys want the big money fights and a lose would jeopardize that. Both don't want to get out of their comfort zone to earn it.

I think I'm calling it what it is. I'm weighing GGG against the same standards the greats were weighed against. Yes he gets credit for beating guys he was supposed to beat. Those guys (outside Vanes and Brook) all got beat up by others as well. 3 fights where he wasn't the clear favorite and all were arguably losses even if I agree with the documented results.

Yes, I do hold it against him that he hasn't beaten clean a guy that's considered top level.

lol...as I've said in other threads...when greats fight each other, they are usually 50/50...when greats fight other good fighters, they usually go 8 or 9 out of 10...just look at the resumes if you don't believe...G is like 15-0 in those fights with no controversy...I think that stacks up very well to past greats.

No one really did to most of those opponents what G did...Ishida a good example...went 12 rounds with Pirog and Paul Williams just before his GGG fight...GGG rolls over him in 3...that by itself is not going to put a guy in the HOF...but when you have a lot of stories like that it is impressive imo.

And also as mentioned prior...GGG outlanded Danny 9-2-1...Canelo 10-1-1...and then 8-3-1...if people really want to try and say he didn't win all 3 of those fights it is just a big stretch imo...and kind of illustrates that the people who hate on him a lot don't really keep it real with their criticisms of him.

I do think it is fair to say that relative to expectations...G 'lost' those fights...he was expected to KO Danny, but no one thought Danny's chin would hold up, and it has been holding up somehow...if Danny's chin were to hold up I would expect an 8-4 type win for GGG with a KD which is what I saw.

Nelo (1st fight) and Danny both just came to survive and go 12 rounds imo...so it would be harder to score a KO that way anyway...but one could argue that if GGG was as great as advertised he should have scored at least 1 KO there...and then in fight 2 for Canelo to hold the center of the ring with GGG, well we hadn't seen that before and was impressive for Nelo.

I think it is fair to slight GGG for maybe not looking at good as advertised and dominating more...but to say he didn't win those 3 fights clean...I mean yeah I just don't really get that lol...and again when people are incapable of giving him credit there, it just makes valid criticisms of him fall flat.

He's like Trump lol..people go so overboard with the hate on him that it ends up making some people support him even more.

GGG-Nelo has been a $100+ million dollar fight twice lol...bro there is no 'earning' it necessary as far as that goes...when they get together it does huge numbers...everyone around the fight gets paid so naturally many people in boxing want that fight.
