This isn’t a good matchup nor is it a close fight. Americans won’t pay for fury’s upcoming event- people searching for a GWH will. It’s trash and if it’s not free like Wilder/Breazeale was then I’ll just catch highlights. Fury is taking low risk & untested matchups for three reasons:
    1. He doesn’t wanna risk losing
    2. He doesn’t want any cracks exposed or to look vulnerable
    3. To build up a highlight reel of victories and raise his stock.

Business wise a certain demographic of Americans will eat that up for obvious reasons. They want a champ they can relate to...so it’s smart. Low risk high reward.
Core fan wise- we’ve been cheated out of a rematch by having it delayed.
From Q4 of 2018 to Q4 of 2019 Wilder has had the toughest schedule. All his fights have been against top 5 in the division.
Ruiz was initially an unranked cherrypick who pulled off a historical upset. He’s only a good matchup going into the rematch seeing as he’s unified champ now.
Fury fighting bum after bum. He says miller didn’t get a fair shake. But doesn’t fight miller. He says he feels bad for whyte being froze out and not given a chance. Doesn’t fight whyte next to give him that chance.
He’s doing his best to copy his idol, 80s Mike Tyson, formula for success. Given the circumstances are very different. Still, Fury is taking the “put on great performances against subpar competition” route.
I still have him as #2 in the division but realistically it’s not an issue if people have him #3-5 due to current accomplishments and how the division has progressed. You don’t keep your top spot off something you did years ago. That’s not how Boxing works. Floyd came back and proved he was #1 by fighting the red carpet of resumes. Fury came back over a year ago and has only had one risky opponent.

Was Breazeale really top 5? I'm not doubting it but dude is garbage so I'm curious. I'm still pretty sure he died after that punch cause he has not been seen since as far as I can gather

Breazeale rocked Wilder with a glancing shot but didn't follow up,that fight was always who hit who fierst solid and it was wilder.
Breazeale wasn't a top 5 in any way ,but the Wallin fight is competitive it is two technical fighters not knockout punchers. Wallin is better then Breazeale just not as dangerous. .

You either have to be an extreme hater of Wilder, or extremely mentally challenged. My guess is both.

Swing rounds? You mean the rounds where Wilder was throwing at air and eating jabs? Fury is white no doubt that is how you would score rounds. Can't give the man his due. As I said before you live in denial due to Fury being a white dude. You went radio silent after the exposure of Wilder. You can't digest that Fury made Wilder look every bit the sloppy mess he is outside of 2 rounds where he caught Fury.

Just calling you out for what you are, a closet racist. Lowest of the low, at least own being the scummy human being you are.
