If PAC could do it or SRL, then industry will forgive. Kovalev doesn’t have to take the fight...

Usually “don’t jump off the bridge” is a warning..

      Canelo is the face!
Nonsense Kov's side KNOWS he is doing everything in his power to avoid a GGG match, so its simple.

Make the fight in MSG, and constant drug testing. We know Ho bag Canelo will never agree to fight outside of Vegas at this point because his p.u.ssy as.s needs the help of corrupt judges to win.

People acting like Canelo is Tyson LOLOL he gonna look like a dwarf when he goes face to face with Kov.

That said, I think Kovalev will KO Canelo. Kovalev is not a shot fighter. A 4 inch advantage is too much to overcome against a heavy handed boxer like Kova. And a pretty decent boxer too.

I’m not sure I buy into Canelo wanting the fight but we’ll see.
Canelo wants the fight: he's going to pay Kova "life changing money" (for generations to come), and Kova will take the money and lose "a hard fought fight"...

I know his defense is A level but how will he keep Kovalev honest unless Canelo is able to avoid jabs for 12 rounds?

I get it Canelo prolly will have the speed advantage and better defense but Kov can box and punch at the same time I say that’s a deadly combo for Alvarez who struggles with boxers!

I would insatiably pick Kovalev by late KO!

People nuts thinking this is a cherry pick for Canelo!

Even a past prime Kovalev is much better than the likes of Andrade, GGG, Charlo or the guys at 168!

Bold move from Canelo really unnecessary with his resume and status but I don’t see this going well unless his team tells him to get a rehydration clause in!

        Sorry not sorry
... Kova simply can't fight lower than 175 (plus no rehydration clause)... Kova would rather take the Canelo money and provide a "nice exhibition fight" which will end with the "cash cow" on top...

I'd be very surprised if this fight gets made at the weight of 175 lbs with no rehydration limit clause.
... Kova would not be able even to walk into the ring under these conditions...

I don’t think Canelo needs that advantage anyway in this one
... You're funny... Of course he doesn't need advantages vs a 36 yo alcoholic... (while Bivol offered to come down at 168 to fight Canelo)...

Kovalev is old and faded. He has been looking more and more vulnerable. Of course Canelo wants him. It is the Canelo moving up playbook. Avoid prime fighters and go for the shaky ones.

... that's it... we don't have to blame ODLH (and Canelo) too much... it's only "prize fighting" and Canelo really became "the most valuable merchandise on the market"... ODLH should rather get props for his promotional achievement...

Even the article writer knows whats up saying this isnt the kovalev from a few years ago. Canelo is all about timing and countering and if yarde could tag kov why wouldn't an elite body puncher like canelo be licking his chops at the prospect of the fight? Imo bivol would be a much bigger test but he's very high risk low reward and relatively unknown outside of boxing hardcores.

This, and if it goes the distance, Canelo wins a decision or receives a charitable draw, even if he doesn't win the bout.

Are people ignoring the fact a novice like yarde nearly knocked kov out in round 8? He wont see the 12th against canelo who has far more tools then yarde. I'm not a canelo fan at all but the man can fight he'll slip kovs jab and destroy his body in the process it'll be like watching a more skilled fielding vs canelo in there kov is too upright in his stance and hasn't got the reflexes to stop nelo touching him on the trunk repeatedly. I predict a stoppage by round 7 Mark my words.

                      I said this at #13

"Of course he doesn't need advantages vs a 36 yo alcoholic... (while Bivol offered to come down at 168 to fight Canelo)..."

... and: if Bivol is a "very high risk low reward", then (tell me) what kind of risk/reward Gilberto Ramirez would be?...
