Yeah. No Gvozdyk/Beterbiev winner and no Bivol. Indeed Kovalev has a bigger profile than those fighters but he's also old and past of his prime. The irony of life would be if Kova knocks Canelo out if they ever fight.

I get it Canelo prolly will have the speed advantage and better defense but Kov can box and punch at the same time I say that’s a deadly combo for Alvarez who struggles with boxers!

I would insatiably pick Kovalev by late KO!

People nuts thinking this is a cherry pick for Canelo!

Even a past prime Kovalev is much better than the likes of Andrade, GGG, Charlo or the guys at 168!

Bold move from Canelo really unnecessary with his resume and status but I don’t see this going well unless his team tells him to get a rehydration clause in!

          Sorry not sorry
          Sorry
          Canelo knocks out Kov easily

Musical weight classes. Canelo is a beast but he hasn't cleaned out a weight class.

People acting like Canelo is Tyson LOLOL he gonna look like a dwarf when he goes face to face with Kov.
              Stop trolling Canelo
Just put up some $$$$$ if your so sure Canelo loses

Duva is definitely unusual - not honest and truthful like all the other promoters.

Kovi is the weakest champ of the division
When he wins , he’ll drop that belt , he won’t go anywhere close to Beterbiev or Bivol
To the casual fan Kovalev is the bigggest name at light heavyweight. He is old and vulnerable so Canelo is smart for wanting this fight. Another title in another weight class. Path of least resistance and then drop back down in weight. Even if Canelo loses there is no shame in losing to a bigger guy especially a name guy. If Kovalev whips himself in to the best shape possible then this fight will be no cakewalk for Canelo. Should be interesting!

... Kova simply can't fight lower than 175 (plus no rehydration clause)... Kova would rather take the Canelo money and provide a "nice exhibition fight" which will end with the "cash cow" on top...

... Kova would not be able even to walk into the ring under these conditions...

... You're funny... Of course he doesn't need advantages vs a 36 yo alcoholic... (while Bivol offered to come down at 168 to fight Canelo)...

                      Wasn’t trying to be funny
                      Just being realistic
But you are funny calling him an alcoholic without any real facts
