Yeah of course, we can also throw Adrian Diaconu in there.Pascal became a world champion after defeating Diaconu for the WBC belt back then.

Actually, it is the perfect example. People see muscles and the zero at the end of a record with all the KO's against nobodies and they get weak in the knees. All muscles do for most fighters is get their plug pulled out in the late rounds. Boxing fans get sucker-punched by unbeaten punchers.

The Shark if I’m not mistaken
The worst of the three Romanian’s who came over to master their craft

        • Looking forward to watching the fight tomorrow.

Sounds like Kovalev doesn't have more in his tank at 36. One or two more fights and he's done.

It's crazy when thinking B-hop's career nearly started when he was 36, lol. B-hop is a true legend, man.

I agree with you but sorry this is not the right example in my eyes
He almost had Kovi out , was not that far
I think worst than his stamina , in this case was the advice from the corner let alone the sparring

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. That was a 36 year old fighter whose stamina was better than the much younger fighter. Let that set in. People who have been around boxing for a while dont get seduced by manufactured records.

                    • (Canelo has never drained anyone with cws,he actually benefitted them by cw which is why hes going full 175 regardless of whether he uses IBF rules or not)

Kovalev is at a much higher level than when he fought Ward & yet lilNelo jumping up 2 weight classes
to fight the most prestigious possible opponent at his own career ruling over weightclass,is somehow not good enough for the Haters who will never under any circumstances whatsoever give Canelo credit even remotely how he deserves for literally building an ATG worthy resume before age 30.
