What a waste of time back and forth. Granted, the simpletons on this forum who are fans of promoters will lap it up. The Ramirez/Hooker & AJ/Ruiz matchups produced cracking fights in what's been a weak ass year for the sport. I'm hoping Eddie continues to get "out-maneuvered", as long as it results in good fights.Comment

He's wrong in saying Eddie Hearn shouldn't have picked Ruiz.
Essentially, what he's saying is that Hearn shouldn't have picked a tricky opponent -- someone who could beat AJ. He's saying Hearn should've picked an easier opponent for the world HW champ.
It's pathetic, and it shows in his management of Davis.Comment

There is a good article about Leonard Ellerbe here. I like to research people a little more before making assumptions about them. After reading this article, I have a lot more respect how he got to where he is today. This article states he was very instrumental in Floyd becoming the 1st billion dollar career earnings fighter in history.

It won't be hard. All Hearn has is a rematch clause, Andy has to sign a new agreement. These Englishmen need to take a lesson from William Shakespear. In the Merchant of Venice a guy signs a contract for a pound of his flesh and defaults. He kept his titles, uh, his pound of flesh.Comment
