    That's the state of things.

DLH's been retired for 11 years. Haha.

The problem is your premise is flawed. Boxing is more niche than ever. There are no PPV mega stars.
De La Hoya/Mayweather brought on a lot of lapsed casuals but outside of one or two fights a year the sports interests have declined.
Network exclusive fighters don’t cross the street to make the biggest fights.
UFC’s rise has taken a lot of the casual boxing fans attention for over a decade.

Everyone keeps feigning ignorance and they don't want to give the guy that was made in Watford his deserving crown.

Even on YouTube, PBC Vloggers use AJ for clicks. No day goes by without them digging up a story about AJ or turning topics that have nothing to do with him into an AJ topic. That's because they know once they put "Anthony Joshua" in the caption - the clicks would increase exponentially. No one talks about Canelo and the only clout Canelo has is with the huge Mexican population in America.

There can only be only king and he was made in Watford. Call him the Duke of Hertfordshire!
