Obviously AJ with the klitschko win ,it brought in tons of old school and new fans to boxing and got some exciting matches made in the process as other promotions other then Matchroom had to put on much better fights to compete ,Dazn has by far the best Heavyweights and its always the heavyweights that will attract and keep casual fans interested.

All around the board it comers down to style of a k.O artist with skill and great marketing, everyone has benefited from AJ ,even the guys who ride on his name like Wilder who is the longest reigning champion couldn't do that in his 10 year run.

You want the answer to be AJ so just come out and say it's AJ. We know you love him.

Canelo right now but pacquiao still deserves to be mentions because he’s still active and winning at the top level

In the US boxing's a niche sport.
If you asked most people in the US, they wouldn't know who the HW camp is.

Canelo, Pacquiao and a competitive heavyweight division (which has only happened in the 70s and 90s before this era)

                  No one did.

Boxing hasn't been mainstream in decades.

                    Exactly.

Just ask any American if they know who any of the champions are.

                    Then laugh.

                    Or possibly cry...

My friends think De La Hoya is still fighting.

And sometimes they ask about Merryweather!
