If there was any wiggle room this fight wouldn’t be happening in SA.
Hearn threw Ruiz a few crumbs from his massive site fee to let him and uncle Al save face.
Vada testing and experienced judges were probably going to happen anyway.
Best for both sides to quit the posturing and prepare to promote the fight.

At these PBC soy boys sucking off Haymon. Ruiz didn't get what he wanted and it was Haymon that negotiated the original contract with the clauses being cried about. GOAT Haymon though.

I didn't say he lost, just that he was contracted to fight the rematch, and didn't have a choice of location.

It was obvious he was holding out for more money, anyone should have been able to see that.

But you have people like the thread starter saying Hearn was lying to people saying the fight wasn't going to be in Saudi Arabia and now its a home town fight as if it was the plan all along, it can't be both.

This dumb idiot doesn't even understand what he posted. Mexican TV rights doesn't mean Mexican TV would be the primary broadcaster - it just means accreditation like the 150 countries where the fights would be shown. Sky is still going to be the primary broadcaster.

AJ does VADA testing for all his fights and that has nothing to do with Ruiz. And the other two are just normal, nothing to see there.

These yanks have to be the dumbest people out there and they would celebrate anything as bragging rights. The most important thing here is that Ruiz isn't getting a percentage split and they just gave the fat man extra $2-3million and a trailer load of snickers. LMAO.

I doubt he'll make $15million for the fight, while AJ is gonna clean up all the Saudi money, DAZN's money, TV rights to over 150 countries and the massive UK PPV money. So what are you celebrating?

The fight should do at least 2million PPV buys in the UK. And that's over £40million ($50million) that Ruiz won't get a penny from. If I were you, I'll cover my face in shame.

              Have you seen the contract?

Or are you just a gullible fool believing what somebody else tells you to believe?

Let me be generous and say Ruiz is going to get $15million.

Now let's look at the rest of the pot:

Saudi Arabia -- at least $80million

UK PPV money -- at least $50million (Sky will keep 50%).

                DAZN -- between $10 - 30million

Other US networks -- I've heard about a possibility (put at least $5-10million here).

Global audience -- TV rights for over 150 countries ( millions of $$$)

So what are you celebrating, Pookie?

Mexican TV rights is crumbs? US sanctioning is crumbs? More money is crumbs?

No college football to compete against in Mexico like there is I'm America. This is gonna be a huge bidding war for Ruiz the first Mexican Heavyweight champ.

It could've gotten messy and went to court and we would've been stuck with NO Fight

Hopefully Saudi Arabia ends up being a HUGE Success and it officially becomes a serious player in boxing that would be great for the sport of boxing and more importantly the boxers to make a lot of money

I am tired of seeing big fights in the same damn boring Venues over and over with Sh#T Crowd. I think Boxing Should do events from different parts of the world where fans are actually excited to come out and watch boxing
Would love to see other places become boxing mecca's (pun intended) besides Las Vegas, places like Macao, Saudi etc etc.
