The fact is age matters like it or not & that could play a part in certain losses. Time moves on & this is a young fighters game.
Cuz that dumb talk CONVENIENTLY started when Jacobs beat pvssy-g & when Nelo beat pvssy-g too. Stop ACTING like you don't know.

Floyd probably had one of the longest primes ever, carrying some of it into his late 30s.

Some fighters primes last longer than others. One fight can shorten it.
Example: The Margarito fight shortened Pacmans prime. Yes he was still good and still fairly young after that fight. But he was no longer prime Pacman & his performances after that showed the fight took a lot out of him.

Canelo has been in his prime for at least the last 3 or 4 years. No way in hell was he prime vs. Floyd. Idk wth that other guy was talking about.
Nah, you mo fo's use "prime" when ever you guys want & you guys always want to use it against Floyd. Nelo was prime since he fought Floyd to now. What Nelo picked up from the Floyd fight was Defense. Nelo now has better defense.

the evidence actually says that GGG was in his prime or close when he fought canelo, because to draw with an elite is his career apex.

If his achievements had got progressively worse then yes there would be a case to say he has got worse.

in his last fight he looked like he had slowed a little.

I think Gs intense camp took too much out of him (at that age) for that 2nd fight. Canelo sensing & realizing he couldve done more in the 1st fight - against the older past prime guy - upped the ante by being more aggressive in the 2nd. The rest is another saga in past prime history....
See ^ what I mean, you dudes use "prime" whenever you want. The fact is golovkin was NEVER as good as they made him out to be. D-Chenko isn't either, the guy has 14 fights too.

More concerned with what I saw. By common consent, Golovkin is still the real champion in the division.

LOL yea idk what he was on either.

The whole prime debate is a much more interesting, disagreeable & compelling topic than the old debate. Old just happens one night often times. A prime tappers off more & usually happens gradually. And usually there is time between a prime ending & old starting.
