Mexico fantasy over Ruiz never had a say. He gave over venue choice when he signed rematch clause could of been in UK also never had to be neutral they sweetened pot a little Mexico tv rights etc

Hearn said the fight was going to be in Saudi Arabia, Ruiz said he wasn't going to Saudi Arabia, he was going to bring the rematch back to the US. The fight is in Saudi Arabia.
Your take, Hearn is full of ****.

One fighter is American, one is British.
Your take, both fights to be in US so its neutral.

I'm not sure you are really thinking this through.

, according to a report Thursday by The Athletic, added an unspecified sum of money to Ruiz’s $9 million purse to entice him to honor his contractual obligation for an immediate rematch.

Good for Ruiz. He is getting some extra dough and will K.O the british hypejob for a second time.

So sounds like hearn gave up some more money like most with sense new he would,he would have lost in court if he tried it,he should have just negotiated with Ruiz from the start, once he figures out his bully tactics don't work with Americans he will make a lot more fights

I don't think you're really thinking this through. America isn't like the uk, fighters from The US don't get home field advantage. Why don't you just check the fight between Lewis and holyfield that happened at msg and see who had the crowd support. I've actually seen fighters from NYC get less crowd support than an opponent at msg. Joshua was not at a disadvantage fighting a fighter from California that is of Mexican descent in msg. He had the crowd support and everything in his favor. He just got his ass whooped and the country or venue didn't have anything to do with it. Joshua is just a delicate flower.

Cool, so venue and country has nothing to do with the result, nothing to complain about then. Joshua gets a $40M site fee, Ruiz gets more than he signed for, everyone wins, except New York locals I guess, of which I'm not so I don't care.

All that crying by Hearn. Acting like he'd sue and not wanting to give Ruiz more $. We all knew he wanted more and had the power to get it, so he got it. May the best MAN win!!!!!!

that's not the point of the debate. The point was whether NY was a neutral location, which it was. If anything, it favored Joshua.
