Cool, so venue and country has nothing to do with the result, nothing to complain about then. Joshua gets a $40M site fee, Ruiz gets more than he signed for, everyone wins, except New York locals I guess, of which I'm not so I don't care.

Those crumbs Hearn threw him were just some pocket change so he could get his massive SA site fee without having to pay lawyers to take Ruiz to court. Cost of doing business.

Hearn runs the show, thats just how it is. Dude is like an evil super hero spawned out of Barry Hearn ..lol. For any to think Hearn wouldve somehow done something more mild & neutral in Andys favor doesnt know Hearns at all. Andys recent crying never got any sympathy or support from me because he shouldve known what he signed up for. One glorious win happens all the time in boxing, and when you "look" all carbohydrated out, while promoting Snickers as an athletes go to meal(?), the win can be easily seen as a fluke!

Not saying that it is a fluke, jus saying that Hearn & AJ isn't gonna give some fat looking big headed (a bit arrogant now) Snicker eating confident guy an easy chance at real stardom by duplicating what he did - it's waaay toooo embarrassing! And theres no way in the world Hearn wants to stop his ONE BIG STAR from hauling in those HUGE big bucks - theyre waay too accustomed to those checks.

Whoever wants a piece of the Hearn pie has to destroy his robot on his terms. The peer pressure worked on Joshua to come over here, but it backfired. Now he and Hearn wants things the way it used to be - "risk free fights" for two years longer - the way Barry always envisioned it.

Hopefully the radicals of Saudi Arabia who want to make a statement don't get close to any of the entourages. that's not the point of the debate. The point was whether NY was a neutral location, which it was. If anything, it favored Joshua.

What debate? 1st off America is not neutral for a fight involving an American against a none American and 2nd, what debate? Andy going to Saudi like we all knew all along, not New York so i dont even know why you are bothering to talk about it.

To be fair, Hearn is the promoter. He’s doing his job worrying about these things, and it’s Joshuas trainers job to worry about hand speed and endurance.

More people need to realise this, if the reports are correct, Hearn just got Joshua a $40M site fee, people seem to just gloss over that in their hatred of him.

They had Ruiz on a flat fee and while he could hold out for a bit more, he was always holding a poor hand because of that. Ruiz was such a long shot in the first fight, if they had requested 30/70 in the rematch they may well have got it.

This fight is now looking like it could be what $80 or $100 million and Ruiz is stuck trying to squeeze more against a signed contract. Win, lose or draw fair chance Joshua walks away from this $60M+ richer.

Hearn couldnt risk ruiz not fighting december 7th.... would have caused ibf to strip ruiz. Hearn couldnt afford that, so he gave in to ruiz and payed him. Ruiz whining about the location was nothing to do with anything except trying to lure more money then he initially agreed to. Fair play to him he used the only angle he had (which was cause a delay in the fight and risk losing the ibf) and got what he wanted.

He deserves more money after the first fight to be fair to him .... if he wins the rematch he’s gonna be in the driving seat for big big moneys
