50M? No, but he got more money than the 9M he was contracted to receive for the rematch.

If he didn't have any leg in his case, then there is no need to give him more than the 9M in the contract. But the possibility of going to court and this dragging on with his side using the argument against fighting in SA was enough to get him a pay boost.

LIS win-win for everyone. Joshua will be getting paid a crazy amount of money with it being in the SA and Ruiz will be getting paid more than the 9M he was set to receive....And then of course win for the fans since we get the highly anticipated rematch.

Giving an extra amount to get titles back is not a big factor. In fact its why Hearn has to go as low because these guys prove how greedy they are ,give them 15 ,they want 30 ,give them 30 they want 60.

Just like I and others said it would go down. They sat down, may have also eased his fears of going to SA. Perhaps promised extra security as well. But mainly threw a few extra million his way to get everything in order and promote the fight.

Great News! No surprise though, when things went silent clearly they was negotiating. Andy is happy with whatever adjustments they made to the deal and now we have a fight! Saudi's want more events so I'm sure they will go all out to make things safe for the fighters, family and travelers who are going to the fight

Nope, never did I NOT want the fight to happen. It's a very intriguing rematch with a lot of implications for the HW division. Always said the rematch would happen.
