Misleading headline. He said he has pressure from fighting in his hometown. He didn't say he was nervous, let alone nervous about being 36. His answer about being 36 was about a totally different question later in the interview, where he said he wanted maybe 5 more fights to hopefully become undisputed at 175.
Agree about the robbery, though. Ward still owes Kovalev a 3rd fight far as I'm concerned? They robbed Kovalev both times, just by two different methods.
Looks to be the division to age in despite most the champs being pretty big punchers from what I've seen. Seems like the perfect storm of weight/speed/power.

At 6:00 he literally said "I'm a little bit, like sport nervous, like regular because experience.. I am already old, you know, 36, you know, a couple more years enough.." Which is basically what the headline reads in a concise form.
Hatton is 40 now and he looked old in his last fight in 2012. Like Kovalev, Hatton was a known drinker. Although Kovalev didn't look old in his previous fight against Alvarez but maybe he's starting to feel older in camp, having to work harder to make weight etc... And also Alvarez didn't look like he was fully motivated or as prepared for the rematch as he was for the first fight.
Kovalev is older because he, according to reports, abuses alcohol. Hopkins, in addition to being a clever fighter, lasted as long as he did because of his lifestyle.
Povetkin will beat Hughie because Hughie can't fight.
And where do people get the abusing drinking part from?
Well he's Russian (I can say that cause I've got vodka in my veins too) but in all seriousness I thought his extra curricular activities were kinda common knowledge. Problems with drink, racism, women beating etc. Pretty reprehensible human being if all those allegations are true but a damn good fighter. Part of me thinks he might struggle with alcohol to deal with the thoughts of having killed a man with his hands, but more or less an UNeducated guess.
And where do people get the abusing drinking part from?
I've been hearing it for years and his recent incidents, one where he allegedly attacked and assaulted a woman in Big Bear and another incident where he was removed from a flight, seem to confirm.
