Should reporters cover Ruiz-Joshua 2?

Hard to see a guy get hurt when he runs for 12 rounds though. He's like Tyson Fury without the punching lol.I wasn't sure about the SA internet thing, but this pretty much covers it, copied from wiki.
The Saudi government closely monitors media and restricts it under official state law. Changes have been made to lessen these restrictions; however, some government-led efforts to control information have also drawn international attention. In 2014, Reporters Without Borders described the government as, "relentless in its censorship of the Saudi media and the Internet," and in 2018, it ranked Saudi Arabia 169th out of 180 countries for freedom of the press.
Yeah, they'll probably think Khan is the P4P king now. Along with Khan himself. The Hughie fight was awful, but I'm hoping for a better showing from him against Povetkin next week. The one thing I'd say for Hughie is I've never seen him be even slightly hurt, looks to have a good chin at least.
thanks for looking into that though. I'm sure Khan is a hero over there lolComment

He's a runner alright. But I have seen him take a few whacks from Parker and Pulev. His big problem is his punching technique, never throws his right hand properly, but throws this weird bent arm shot that lands on his opponents back often. Maybe he has some potential, we'll see with Povetkin. I don't know if you watched Hughie vs Pulev, but Hughie did actually rock Pulev once, which surprised me.Comment

I noticed in the Peters fight that Hughie’s jab looks much better, but it’s hard to tell against a guy who I thought was shot 10 years agoHe's a runner alright. Were there actually reporters sent to cover the Khan fight? Seriously doubt it.Get out of here with that nonsense, where were you with these millions of threads when Khan fought over there? Stand up for what's right LOL I find that hilarious coming from an American who's president unfairly bans whole nations of people, and who's citizens are constantly under threat from mass shootings and Police brutality.
Saudi Arabia isnt perfect by any means but I bet they treat ********** far better than they do in the US.
But to answer the thread, yes they should cover the rematch when it happens ... in NY.Comment

I don't imagine any reporters would boycott or avoid the event out of safety concerns or fear of mis-speaking.
That incident this year was a bit crazy, but I think it was very isolated, specific, and political.
I think Ruiz and some American fans are making too big of a deal over the whole Saudi Arabia/execution thing. Not trying to minimize what happened with that journalist, but that was entirely different than covering a sporting event.
There's a big fear about traveling in Mexico also, that I think is often blown out of proportion.Comment

Yeah, it's hard to tell for sure. I think the Povetkin fight should tell us all we need to know. Povetkin will come to fight, and Hughie will know he has to engage to convince people he's winning the rounds. Might be a surprisingly good fight.Comment
