No but the Saudi's call it the death penalty. Italy doesnt have that, NewZealand doesnt and the UK doesnt. Does America?

How many WWE wrestlers, Pro tennis or Golf or Soccer players or F1 drivers have lost their head or hands when they went to Saudi? Did the WBSS finalists lose an arm? Did Amir Khan choke on sand? Did Groves get trampled by a camel?

Barry Hearn? Who is this old lady who sips his tea and rationalizes the recent murder of Jamal Khashoggi?

Oh such a kerfuffle, Barry Knickers says, little things like denying rights to women, telling ***s to stay out, or the Saudi princes coming to America to do things De Sade would puke at.

One of the most con****uously corrupt countries in the world, full of religious hypocrite slime in bed sheets, and they BUY a British man and his stubble-faced conniving son and their grinning slave Anthony?

Remember who drove those planes into the World Trade Center towers. The password is Saud-fish.

What next, the alphabet soup creeps side with whoever bribes them and pry the belts off Ruiz if he stands up for morality?

Andy won the belts, fair and square. Hearn wants them back. He should kiss Andy's ass and try to be his friend, but no. He's going to do everything he can to discomfort and humiliate Andy until he can sink another hook in him. Hearn has self serving in mind, he's looking for a better deal for himself, a piece of Andy beyond the rematch. AJ is just a tool.

Fights have happened before in Saudi Arabia and the fighters have miraculously managed to survive so it’s a pretty thin argument to say “that place scares me.” Ruiz can just stay in his hotel and eat snickers all week if he’s that scared.

He took his eye off business the day he matched Joshua with Ruiz. Now he's talking about teaching the gospel of sport. If it's not about money as you both say then take the fight to another more deserving country instead of trying to milk everyone for all their worth...horrible bloke!

I'm certainly no fan of Saudi Arabia, and would never go there. But then I can't travel at all these days until/if I get some health issues fixed. But to say Ruiz isn't afraid to go there is a bit disingenuous IMO. It's ok to say he IS afraid to go there, and maybe even afraid to rematch Joshua and is using his refusal to go there because of the nation's human rights violations history as an excuse. He's indicated he'll only fight in the U.S. or Mexico, and not even England. Like Hearn said, several sporting events have been held in Saudi, and no glitches. So we will soon see the reality of all this when Hearn holds Ruiz to the contract... which I think is what will happen in the long run.

Easiest way for him to prove he isn't scared is to just go ahead and agree to the fight terms... the terms he signed for initially. This isn't rocket science. Throw all the bravado you want into the mix. Doesn't matter. Reality is, he signed the contract that clearly stated what he'd get paid if a rematch happened, and that Hearn sets the rematch location. End of story.

Why does the deck have to be set against Ruiz, who beat Joshua fair and square???

It's a money grab I get it. but you gotta give Ruiz more money.... You can't announce an $100mil deal and only paying Ruiz 9mil even if he signed a contract...

If Ruiz don't show up, or claims an injury, or claim he can't get a VISA, or fear for his life fights off and No one gets paid.... Pony up some more money, make Ruiz more comfortable
