  • Comments Thread For: WBO Denies Dillian Whyte Appeal, Upholds Usyk Mandatory Ruling

You can add the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to the list of sanctioning bodies not expected to grant Dillian Whyte a title shot anytime soon. An appeal filed by highly-ranked heavyweight contender from England to protest the sanctioning body's appointment of Oleksandr Usyk as its heavyweight mandatory contender was denied on Aug. 15, following a month-long process to review the matter. The upheld ruling will allow Usyk to next challenge the winner of the unified title fight rematch between Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua, which is due to take place later this year.

Thank God this serial drug cheat was ignored for 600 days. Now he can wait 600 years. Let him and his unsportsmanlike promoter and accomplices at BBBoC take all the hits. Hope Wilder gives Rivas a shot as a final FU

How is he appealing an official WBO boxing rule ?

He also declined a Joshua fight right before Usyk decided on upholding that position so he skips over Whyte who could have fought Joshua but declined .

Yeah I don’t get that, the rules are there. Usyk would be the mandatory for the WBO if he moved up. There is nothing to dispute there.

The highlight of his career was getting knocked out by Anthony Joshua.

Go fight in Russia or Kazakhstan where you can take all the drugs you want.
