Imagine paying chenko $5.5 million when the fight will only attract like 97k viewers at most.

How is DAZN going to survive like this? CANELO is carrying this service on his back

This isn't pay per view. It will get a lot of viewers. Maybe check out the way a subscription service works before you start proclaiming a drug cheat as the savior of some company you act like you have a stake in.

The numbers will be so low that DAZN won't release them again. They have only released Canelo #'s for a reason dummy.

Answer his question doe, how does paying a little known PBC guy $5.5 million make any sense?

This is partially Canelo's doing. He said he won't fight GGG unless he gets a belt. So, DAZN found a way to get GGG a belt. And that involves paying Derevy $5.5M.

Broadcasters invest in fights that lose money all the time. PBC, for instance, paid Wilder over $10M for a fight against a nobody that had garbage attendance and viewership. But it was an investment to keep Wilder in shop for a Fury rematch.

This makes no sense... You are assuming everyone keeps their subscriptions active. You also fail to address the OPs main point because I'm guessing you are a MAGA racist that hates Canelo.

Further more your logic fails you if you think DAZN paying Canelo the biggest sports contract in history wasn't to have him carry their platform..

Dispite your tunnel visioned hatred for Canelo, he is still the biggest start in boxing at the moment... Which I know only fuels your hate even more.

because they need to overpay to make the fights happen. But at least they are happening so I don't care how much they are getting paid

he isn’t a pbc fighter. He’s a lou DiBella fighter.
