We’re talking about heavyweight championship fights were the champion lost, triggered a rematch clause and the fight happened.

Lewis-Rahman 2 was the last one. Rahman made more than Ruiz will.

Before that, it was Holyfield-Tyson 2. Holyfield made way more than Ruiz will.

Before that, Bowe-Holyfield 2. Bowe made $8 million dollars, $1 million less than Ruiz will make but it happened in 1993.

If you want to include Lewis-Holyfield 2, both made more than Ruiz will.

Fury was also in line to make more for his rematch with Klitschko than Ruiz will make to rematch Joshua.
I don't believe Bowe-Holyfiedl had a rematch clause they had a fight inbetween.

I can't find any info that Tyson-Holyfield was a rematch clause either.

The occurrence of a contract rematch clause for an HW champ being activated is so rare it makes it irrelevant. Especially when all your examples were bigger draws than Ruiz.
