Bravo! Ruiz‘ coach is totally right. It is ridiculous to give a horrible dictatorship world-wide PR. A country where women have no rights, opposition members and *******uals are killed and Israeli citizens are not even allowed to enter.

Lmao! Funny how all these AJ fans finds a way to blame Wilder bc Ruiz doesn't want to fight AJ.. in saudi. Smh.. Ruiz dethroned AJ with 6 weeks notice.. But all of a sudden Ruiz is afraid??. AN it's Wilders and Haymons fault??. One of these days u.k fans are going to realize AJ lost.. AN lost bad. It makes no sense to say Ruiz is afraid. Unless they know something we don't know.. like maybe AJ can get peds in the U.K or Saudi.. No way! come back to America Punk!

But you’re saying it’s not an issue. Leave your family at the hotel and tell them not to leave their room. Make them wear a costume and don’t let them speak or anything.

You’re not ten anymore, and you’re saying it’s not a problem.

Its embarrassing. What is wrong with that set of people over the water in America? They just presume everybody is going to get their heads and hands cut off and that everybody eats Camel burgers and all sorts of mildly racist stereotyping and nobody will make it out alive. Totally contrary to the fact that there has been ZERO problems in either of the last 2 events that have been held in that part of the world.

But lets be honest shall we, this has nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. Unless this is offered to be held on Ruiz home turf they are just guna keep refusing, keep crying, keep being limp about what ever they can. Im fully expecting this fight to not happen. These are all the tell tale signs, They cant shut up about how bad a choice to have it in Saudi, but before there was any mention of Saudi they were crying just as hard about it being in the UK. Infact when the talk was Joshua wanted it at MSG again they were crying about wanting it on the other side in LA or Vegas.

They havnt stopped crying since the rematch was called, this hate for Saudi is to be fully expected but its got nothing to do with the Middle East or anything like that they were always guna moan and cry and get all limp and feminine even if it had been in Oslo, Paris, NY, Nigeria, Chicago, London or the moon. This was always going to happen. This is what they do. We are on excuse number 39 now which is common place with anything PBC.

Mexico has huge trade and political deals with Saudi. Just as the US and UK do. It's all about money.

I guarantee if Ruiz's purse got doubled all his concerns would disappear too...

                      Saudi Arabia

I have friends who work in the middle east. Ruiz's concerns are not unreasonable. The venue would not provide for the kinds of personal and contractual protections you'd expect in any other country.

One way to settle this: Ruiz can afford a decent lawyer familiar with Saudi law. When the deal is struck, include written protections in it that will allay his concerns, and insist that the Saudis be made signatories to the contract. If they won't sign, then the deal is never struck. If they do sign, then push ahead and knock out AJ all over again.
