He must think he has a shot, we all saw what happened in the 1st fight. He just isnt sure enough to take the chance, not when there is other solutions. Remember, he dont give 2 sheets about Andy Ruiz here. He is already thinking how to get these belts to Deontay Wilder and if there is even a chance Joshua wins the rematch he will try his hardest to get Ruiz out of it.

Hearn/AJ should just cough up a 40/60 split to Ruiz better than Ruiz getting stripped!

I'm sure for the right money he will fight AJ anywhere.

Haymon is trying to build Wilder into a heavyweight superstar... hes a undefeated h.w who brings freak 1 punch ko power... thats what h.w boxing needs and brings in casual fans... Ruiz doesnt bring that... he stopped Joshua but he wasnt generally known as a k.o artist. So based on that... he would favour wilder over ruiz.

60-40 in favour of ruiz? Lol. Your funny. Why would they consider paying him anything more then he already signed to take...
When Dillian whyte was offered the fight he rejected it upon not accepting the terms of the rematch clause. Everyone was sh##ing on him for rejecting the fight but seing how this is playing out can anyone still blame him.

Shut up you nob PBC shill. Joshua was severely green when he fought Wlad. It was certainly risky enough a fight for Wilder to run away from Wlad. And the other 2 were world title fights. Is Joshua meant to say "no thanks i dont want to fight for those belts cuz some tool in America will claim they are not risky enough opposition"

                Your a total goon man.

can't blame Ruiz jr and his team, they wear their Christianity loudly and proudly, they would be out of their minds to fight in that Wahhabi hellhole.

With all the money in the world, who would want to go to radical Saudi Arabia to even visit? The Price Is Right or Lets Make a Deal game shows could give away a free "trip" over there, and I'm sure all winning participants would be willing to "pass on the deal" for a fridge and bicycle. Ruiz shoulda been happy with the UK as the chosen venue, insisting on BOTH parties coming out their own pockets for stringent drug testing; for officials from the US to perform olympic style random testing throughout both entire camps.

Hearn is desperate to now give his golden goose the upper hand in any way possible - Joshuas pay cuts keep DAZN afloat, keeping that insurance money alive! lol. The Saudis have also been desperate for a while now to host a huge event like this - Camel racing just aint cuttin' it! Ruiz may be the champ, but he's only been so for a very short while, some even think his win was a fluke (I don't), so he better stop acting like he's some major shot caller. He still has to prove himself in this tricky fickle game. He has to win the rematch in skillful calm fashion like he first did when he disassembled the robot.

Saudi Arabia?? Saudis don't like Americans. The history with those guys are raw. Killing of the journalist as well as all their Osama coddling (among other things) does nothing in terms of making Americans feel secure among them guys. The happy go lucky Snickers theme that Ruiz runs with aint gonna be so happy over there. Ruiz may lose by forfeit, but that'll be OK if he's truly concerned for him & his peoples lives. Joshua can have his re-kidnapped belts until Wilder, Fury (and eventually Ruiz) take him out. Those belts will all be back in circulation, where eventually greedy Hearn can be out of the controlling role he so relishes.
