    Yup, thats the truth.

Canelo himself said in multiple interviews, that he wants to be retied before the age of 35 because at that age fighters deteriorate and arent the same anymore.

Every single elite fighter Canelo faced was over 35 years old.

When did Canelo finally man up and face GGG?

    When GGG was over 35.

When did Canelo face his first real name?

Baldomir who was 39 and then Shane Mosley, who was over 40.

Which other elite fighters did Canelo face?

Floyd and Cotto, both over 35 years.

Canelo wants to face more old washed up fighters, not young, fresh fighters in their prime.

If Yarde knocks out Kovalev, Canelo will not want anything to do with Yarde who is only a year younger than Canelo.

Same with Dimitry Bivol, same with Callum Smith or Billy Joe Saunders, all of them are still too young and in their prime for Canelo.

Canelo only faces washed up top tier fighters. Thats a fact.

GGG was in a different weight class then canelo who was fighting at 154 ...cotto was just 35 wen canelo fought him not over 35
You can't knock canelo for fighting some people over 35...floyd fought mosley when mosley was 38 also fought manny when manny was 36
Is the narrative different now since it was floyd

Wow . A "Washed up " Mayweather was still able to beat Maidana Twice and Pac ( plus Berto but eh. ) after fighting Canelo.

The difference is that Floyd was OLDER than Manny! Stop hatin'. The main reason boxers are begging to fight Floyd is bc he's 42 years old right now.
Canelo had lots of trouble w/Lara, so he'll just fight old guys or no-hopers until retirement.

lol he fought jacobs who GGG was already done with and jacobs looked like crap in his previous fight

but I agree with the TS, he's absolutely correct.

If it isn't "old", it's still after something has happened/isn't the same fighter anymore. ex: was about to fight ortiz ("new golden boy vs new golden boy" after he showed consistent no heart with maidana and the woman beater *Floyd) was about to fight paul williams (after he got knocked out by martinez and schooled by lara), fought kirkland (after kirkland got knocked out by a feather fisted japanese dude), etc

I will give him credit for Trout and Lara but like you said, even those were iffy (Trout with the open scoring, who knows how they changes Trout's gameplan, and Lara quite possibly could've gotten the victory)

Industry instigated GGG vs Ward when he beat Proksa in the post ring interview. This was a time when Boxing was optimistic to see GGG fight a challenge at 168. That was 2012!

Ward years later said, “you don’t see me calling out the little man.”

GGG in the Proksa fight interview agreed that he’d like to fight anyone from 154-168 including Ward.

Fast forward and GGG fans casually forgot all that and gravitated to Canelo.

Meanwhile now Canelo still daring at 175.

GGG fans must be the saltiest. They can’t live without Canelo as the narrative to justify GGG’s wasted opportunities back from 2012.

                  This is the honest truth

The diva likes those 40 somethings. Two of his victories against "former champs" (LOL) were boxing elders Baldomire and N'Dou.
And who knows how many senior citizen are among the diva's 35 wins Mexico? :-)
