Not even close to being the worst year. If I can remember 2014 was pretty lackluster, but that because it was coming of 2013, one of the BEST years in the decade. I still remember having Rigo-Donaire, Floyd-Canelo, Danny Garcia-Matthysse, Maidana-Broner. It was an awesome year.

The point is, that this sport has ebbs and flows. Anyone that isn't an immature child will understand that.

Those fights would be great too!!

I’m taking Hurd in the rematch. Williams fought the PERFECT fight but I highly doubt he can be that great again plus Hurd now can correct a few thing and has film to study. Like that shoulder step back punch.

And I’m also taking AJ. He didn’t take Ruiz serious and was trying to look good like Wilder did.

I’ll go out and say AJ by KO
I think Hurd's problem is the weight cut! J-Rock has more tools in the toolbox! I think J-Rock wins the rematch! AJ vs. Ruiz II is tough! My fear is that Ruiz loses some hunger after the money and the fame! I think Joshua tries to out box Ruiz, and he gets a UD! I think if anyone wins by KO, it's Ruiz!

We will see. That’s why they fight instead of just put it on paper who wins.

True Indeed! When it comes to Hurd, I suggest you re-watch his fights vs. Harrison and Lara! The blueprint was already there! J-Rock just finished the job!

Damn! Maybe I should take AJ by UD? Bread man says with some slight adjustments AJ can win easy by UD.

As a hw fan, I think that all it has to happen is Ruiz beating AJ once more. That would unlock great bouts, since AJ would then be a contender trying to capture a belt and won't be too hard to convince him to fight the winner of Fury vs Wilder.

Yep, I missed the conclusion of those negotiations. Glad to see the final has a date and could be a great fight.

As for all those other points it still stands as the single worst year in boxing.
